Sleepyhead Commercial has been ensuring your guests get quality bedding for more than 50 years in New Zealand. We're part of The Comfort Group - a New Zealand family-owned company that began life in the 1930s with mattresses being made in Auckland. The company has grown into Australasia's largest bedding and foam manufacturer, producing consumer and commercial brands across seven factories in New Zealand & Australia.
Sidney Turner started making mattresses under the Sleepyhead brand in an Auckland shed in 1935.
Sleepyhead Commercial began in the mid 1960s after the company indentified and responded to the accommodation industry & its own unique requirements beyond the consumer mattress market.
Sleepyhead has won the Reader's Digest Most Trusted Brands in the bedding category since 2014.
Our Commercial technologies – the Torquezone spring system & Sensorzone – have both before been backed by Chiropractors’ for over 30 years for excellence in postural support.
